
PRiME Director presents at ESP KTN event
PRiME Director, Professor Bashir Al-Hashimi, introduced the PRiME research programme to a mixed audience of academic and industrial experts at the Energy Efficient Computing Special Interest Group Annual meeting held in London in July. Presentations at the event, which was funded by the Technology Strategy Board (TSB), covered future TSB and EU funding, research projects and industry developments on computing energy efficiency tools etc.
‘Embedded systems innovation plays an important part in solving many societal grand challenges in energy, transport, and health. New hardware and software technologies underpin key industrial competitiveness across many sectors with demand for low-power and reliable electronics.’ concluded Professor Al-Hashimi during his presentation.
